(Mailing List Information, including unsubscription instructions are located at the end of this message) Trailworkers There are leaves everywhere, there's mud on the trail, and I know just what you're thinking. Its time to get out and get muddy. After an at times seemingly endless summer enjoying our surrounding trails, it is time to invest in rehab and paying back. I have dates picked out for the 2004/2005 trailwork season in the Santa Cruz Mountains and you will find them below. Please take the time to enter a couple of these dates into your own calendar, and come join other volunteers helping out our local land managers. With your help we can expand on riding and hiking opportunities and improve everyone's outdoor experience. Run over to http://www.trailworkers.com and check out our past accomplishments, and while you are there, sign up for our season kickoff, Sunday, November 28. That will be the post Thanksgiving calorie burn in the Soquel Demonstration State Forest and Nigel Ray will be leading us on a special project to continue the construction on the Western Addition to the Ridge Trail. Looking forward to seeing you out there Charles Jalgunas November 28 Soquel Demonstration State Forest December 4 Upper Stevens Canyon County Park December 5 Upper Stevens Canyon County Park December 12 Soquel Demonstration State Forest January 16 Soquel Demonstration State Forest January 30 Soquel Demonstration State Forest February 6 Upper Stevens Canyon County Park February 13 Soquel Demonstration State Forest February 27 Soquel Demonstration State Forest March 13 Soquel Demonstration State Forest March 27 Soquel Demonstration State Forest Easter Egg Hunt and Trailwork April 3 Soquel Demonstration State Forest Time Change Late Work Day 12:00? This is for those guys, or at least that guy, that complains yearly that our workdays start too early for the overworked tech geeks. Lets sleep in, start late, and toast our good work afterward in the parking lot. April 24 Upper Stevens Canyon County Park May 8 Soquel Demonstration State Forest "Do something for your Mother Earth"
