Demo Trail Day@Noon on Sunday

(Mailing List Information, including unsubscription instructions are
located at the end of this message)

Riders, workers, and event photographer

This Sunday, April 3 is a unique trail work day in the Demo. It is also the first day of Daylight Savings time, so we have timed our event accordingly. This Saturday night, you will get to set your clocks forward, stay up late, sleep in, and still make it to trail work on time, in this case, noon sharp. Scott Robinson of Own The Trail will be our event sponsor, and crew leader as we make tracks ( and erase some) on the Ridge and Tractor Trails.

An additional bonus is the ride or hike option. Some of us will be hiking in to the work site, and others will be riding our bikes in, towing tools with us. The Stewards of Soquel Forest will be providing coffee and fatty snacks before the work begins, and Patty and Charles are likely to provide more fatty snacks and an adult beverage for those that worked hardest after we are done.

We need a few more people to help us groom the trails, help preserve them for the rest of the rain season, and at least one more person willing to carry and use the Stewards camera. Patty tells me I need to work more, and take fewer pictures of peoples butts. Sound like a job for you? Bounce any questions off Scott scott_robinson@trimble.com , or roll over to Trailworkers.com and sign up on the volunteer page.

See you out there!

Hello All,

Own The Trail is sponsoring a trail day in the Soquel Demo Forest this Sunday at noon (don't forget to change your clocks for Daylight Savings). We will be doing some much needed maintenance on Tractor (currently a river) and Ridge. Check out some of the projects we are planning here: http://www.ownthetrail.com/10.html

Own the Trail will also be providing snacks AND accepting memberships. Come on out, balance your Karma, and do some much needed trailwork. If we get the water off now, it'll make the trails better all summer. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Scott Robinson
