(Mailing List Information, including unsubscription instructions are located at the end of this message) This Sunday, May 22nd, is the final trailwork day of the season in the Soquel Demonstration Forest. This is our last opportunity to fix and improve the trails prior to the heavy summer riding season and we have a number of interesting projects to enhance the ride experience on the Ridge Trail. We will be meeting at the parking lot off Highland across the steel bridge at 8:30 AM on Sunday (5/22) to be ready to ride by 9:00 AM. The plan is to ride into the forest via the ridge trail towing bob trailers, but how much we accomplish depends on who turns out. Bring your bike, ride gear, gloves and radios (if you have them). Lunch, water and trail food is also a good idea. If weather looks questionable, we may hike instead of riding, so bring boots and appropriate clothing. If you can join us, please sign up at http://www.trailworkers.com/volunteer.cfm or email nigel.ray@durect.com so that we can be sure that we have sufficient tools, etc. We are looking forward to a great summer of riding in the Forest. One of the ways to enhance that experience is to spend some time making the trails better. We get a big charge out of riding trail features that we have has a hand in constructing. We hope that you can share some of that excitement by joining us this Sunday. Regards, Nigel Ray and Charles Jalgunas Stewards of Soquel Forest
