[] Tonight

[] Sunday

[] Sunday Night
Mostly clear and cold with areas of frost. Lows mid 20s to mid 30s. Light wind.

I'll keep any eye on things, and keep in touch with all that have signed up to attend. While trailworkers are usually more hardy than the average US Postal worker, freezing rain will cancel our event. Barring cancellation, it's a great time to show your support for a park that's doing it right. We will be working to finish a reroute out on Sawpit. The old trail went straight down the hillside, causing erosion and ruts. The new trail winds back and forth over the ridge-line, allowing better drainage, and a trail that's easier to maintain. Worried that we are taking out a fun section, and giving nothing back? Never fear. We are planning a couple of fun log overs, and a small root jump to keep those who are interested entertained, but we leave plenty of space for those who choose a smoother path. The new alignment should be a better experience for almost every type of user. Everyone is welcome to come out and help. There will be some poison oak at the worksite. Wear long pants and a long-sleeve shirt. You are welcome to hike or bike in. Meet in the dirt parking lot at 8:30am. Feel free to email me or our Crew Leader Scott Robinson <Scott_Robinson@Trimble.com> with any questions or concerns.

Charles
