Passion Wednesday Night Ride

This Wednesday, and Next Monday


We are riding out to Waterdog from Passion again this Wednesday night at 7:00, as is becoming our habit. Meet here a bit before 7:00 so we can leave as close to closing as possible. Leave your car and other gear here, and enjoy the appointments of the lounge after the ride, or meet us en route. We do try to get out of the park by dark, and back to Passion by 9:00, but I bring my headlight, and recommend everyone have tail light on their bike for the return on Ralston. Every bike that gets ridden on the road should have a red blinky. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect, and also let us know if you plan to meet us on the way to Waterdog and we might divulge the super-secret route info.


Last week we had 18 riders, and we ran out of Full Boar Scotch Ale. I am taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.


Next Monday, the 19th, we are meeting in the evening at Skegg's Point for a tour of the El Corte de Madera Open Space preserve, and particularly the Giant Salamander and ECdM Trails that are going to be closing this July. Find out more info on the ride regarding why these trails are closing and why that's probably pretty cool. Meet at Skegg's around 4 something for a 4:30 start time, and optional recovery meal at Alice's in Woodside.


Our last Monday ECdM ride started with 12 riders, and devolved into a group of 7 that stuck to the original ride plan, and another of 5 that didn't know when to quit. Unfortunately for this group of 5, after the ride they found Alice's was also out of Full Boar. Hopefully this is not another trend.
