(Mailing List Information, including unsubscription instructions are located at the end of this message) Riders Last Monday's Pink Slip Ride was in Downieville, Big Boulder to Third Divide. Our group was small, the snow had recently receded, and the track was in awesome condition. The weather was hot and the river was cold. This Monday's ride will be easier for more folks to attend, even if they are still gainfully employed. We will meet on Monday the 10th at the Skegg's Point parking lot on Skyline and ride the El Corte de Madera Open Space Preserve at 4:30pm. Our main objective will be to ride the two trails that are about to be closed later this month, Giant Salamander and ECdM. Join us to find out why these trails are so cool, and why their closure is going to make them even cooler. On Wednesday, we will be riding up into Waterdog from Passion Trail Bikes. This is the same old ride in that we will ride out from the shop at 7:00, and return around 8:45 for refreshments courtesy of Passion and the Devil's Canyon Brewing Company. It is also the same in that the exact route is secret and changes weekly, so email us if you are going to meet us en route or at the park. RSVP if you are going to attend because we may have more than the standard trans-fat and salt fare for everyone on their return, and want to make sure we have the right amount of everything. Bring a red blinky and a headlight if you have one. We try to get out of the park before dark, but you never know what could happen on these days of waning daylight. Charles P.S.
