Passion October Downieville Gathering

Come join Passion Trail Bikes Downieville Gathering on the weekend of October 7-8.

Everyone will be responsible for their own costs, both room & shuttle, but Passion will be doing the organizing and guiding to make it an all fun, no hassle weekend of riding the best singletrack in Northern California.

Rides:
Downieville has become a destination for world class riding. The rides have lots of fun, technical singletrack. Berry will be leading the rides on this weekend, and will be showing you something other than the usual routes that most people take in Downieville. We will be getting shuttled by Yuba Adventures for both days. You should have decent technical skills and endurance - the riding in Downieville is technical and even with the shuttles, there will be a significant amount of climbing.

After Saturday’s ride, we will be back in town in time to hang out at the stream (bring swim suit and/or fishing tackle), or for those who didn’t get enough of the trails, to go for a second run (we can tell you how to schedule a shuttle, and advise you on good routes).

Shuttles will cost about $20 on each trip up the hill.

Lodging:
We have currently reserved rooms for about 16 people at the Riverside Inn, which is a great little Inn located right in town on the river.

There will be a range of room costs, depending on what works for you. For those on a tight budget, we can get the lodging price down to about $25/head if you are willing to share a queen size or larger bed in the large room (the bachelor pad). But we can arrange more space or privacy (including private rooms for about $100 a night, including some rooms with kitchenettes and/or multiple beds) if your preference and budget allow (and the Inn has vacancies) - please let us know what you'd like when you reply.

Send an e-mail to berry@passiontrailbikes.com if you want to attend. Include number of people who are attending and type of lodging you’d prefer (your own room, separate bed in shared room, or lowest cost of sharing a bed in a shared room).

Respond soon if interested. We will need a firm commitment no later than Sept 29 (or when we are all booked up, which may be before then), so don't hesitate to be part of the crew and join the fun.
