Two Mondays and a Full Weekend

This Monday we are doing a big President's Day ride in the Demo, and next Monday our ride is yet to be determined, but we are sure to end up at Chevy's in Foster City at some point. The following weekend is Passion's First Anniversary Luau. We hope you can attend at least one these events!

President's Day Ride

On Monday the 19th we are meeting at the Soquel Demonstration State Forest at 8:30 for a whole slew of rides. I plan a triple loop incorporating Corral, Sulphur, Saw Pit, Tractor, and Braille, in that order, for a four or five hour tour. Others will be doing shorter rides as yet undescribed. Cast your vote in the parking lot. How about a roll call? Are you planning on being there? Also, Josh and Tim need a ride from Passion, or from the Page Mill Park N Ride. Can anyone carry them and their bikes?

Chevy's Food and Drink Fundraiser for Elaine Minton and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Elaine Minton and Chevy's Restaurant are working together to raise funds for a great cause. Come on out to Chevy's Restaurant in Foster City on Monday, February 26 for lunch, dinner, or drinks. You could even have a team lunch there! Have fun enjoying fajitas and margaritas on the lagoon! Chevy's has offered to donate 25% of all food purchases to Elaine's fundraising efforts to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. You may know Elaine is training for Ironman Canada in August with Team In Training http://www.active.com/donate/tntgsf/ironwoman

Elaine will be in the bar from 6-9pm should you want to join her, but the offer is good all day. It highly likely Passion will host a ride nearby, and stop at Chevy's afterward. Passion's First Anniversary Luau

Test rides, demo rides, Waterdog rides, pig roast, lounging, sales, discounts... these things have already been decided. Specialized and Maverick are each providing a fleet of demo bikes, and we are trying to get a few Giants and Versus bikes here too. We're still working on the rest of it, but you will want to save the dates, Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4. Rides on Saturday and Sunday, and food and drink on Saturday night. Details will follow.
