Downieville in September
We're organizing another Passion Trail Bikes Downieville Trip September 15-16-17, Sat through Monday. The time shift eases commute issues, to keep the grin factor high. The noon shuttle on Saturday makes it possible to get up at a reasonable hour and still make the 4 hour drive to D-Ville in time; returning Monday means we're traveling against the commute, for the most part.

We've booked rooms at the Riverside Inn again & made shuttle reservations with Yuba. All you need to do is mail or bring in a cash or check deposit of $50 to hold your place on the fun wagon. Total costs will vary, but will be around $60 per night for the room & $20 per day for the shuttle. So for now all we need is the deposit to hold you space, which is limited to about a dozen fun hogs. More details to those who join up. Deposits are due here no later than Aug 21, that's when we have to give back any unused space.... who wants that? Check out our latest blog entry for some pics and videos from our last trip. http://www.passiontrailbikes.com/articles/2007/07/24/downieville

Dirt Jumping Clinics -- Spaces still available
We’ve managed to coordinate some dates for Chris Duncan to teach you a bit about dirt jumping. It should be a fun and educational event, and we are excited to help put this together. Early responders to our inquiry a few weeks ago have reserved a few slots in the schedule, however each date has at least one opening. There are 4 different dates, split up by demand, skill level and gender, so please be certain to choose the class that is appropriate for you.

All classes will be held at Shells in Foster City:

Advanced Dirt Jumping: Sunday, August 12th. This is for those that responded to our survey as a “2” or “1.” This class is for experienced jumpers that are looking to learn to soar higher, farther and with more style.
Registered:
Josh
Needed: two more
Open: four more

Women’s Dirt Jumping: Sunday, August 26th. For the dirt divas who want a learning environment without any burping, smelly boys (except for Chris, of course :) around.
Registered:
none
Needed: three more
Open: five more
Option: Allowing men to attend in order to fill the clinic.

Dirt Jumping for the Rest of Us: For riders less sure of their jumping aptitude. Your choice of either
Class #1 Saturday, September 8th
Registered:
Pete
James
Tony
Open: two more

Class #2 Sunday, September 9th
Registered:
Mark
Jason
Michael
Thai
Open: one more

All remaining slots are open on a first come, first served basis. To reserve a spot, bring a check to Passion Trail Bikes ASAP. All classes are $100 dollars per person. Checks should be made out to “Chris Duncan.” Come to: Passion Trail Bikes, 415-C Old County Road, Belmont, CA 94002. You may call 650-620-9798 to check with Patty to see if there are still open spots before coming by, but note that no spots will be reserved by phone without a check.

Please note:
-- Classes are limited in size to 5 people, with a minimum of 3 needed for the class to occur. Rain or insufficient interest will cancel the class and get you a refund. Drop outs will get a refund only if the spot can be filled by another rider. We will establish a wait list if there is enough interest. Sign up now to secure your spot!
-- Passion Trail Bikes is not affiliated with Chris Duncan. We are only helping with the scheduling, not the content of the classes.
--- Chris recommends that you switch to platform pedals for the class. You might want to try them out before the class to get used to them.

In air we trust,

Passion Trail Bikes
