Helivac in Tahoe wasn't Charles Bret Winters joins Passion Staff One space in Advanced Dirt Jumping Clinic New items placed on the Sales Rack Weekly Wride Times for Tonight, and next Week.
Helivac in Tahoe wasn't Charles Charles took two whole days off! Woo Hoo! He and Nigel went to Tahoe, rode some spectacular Sierra trails, and even got to watch an amazing helivac operation (the victim was not in their group). Pictures are on Flickr http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1416/1265137494_ccfbba5fff.jpg?v=0 Now he's back and feeling frisky! (If you ever contemplate opening your own business, just ask Charles about how many hours he worked in the summer of '07). The post-ride rehydration therapy in the lounge tonight will include a complete ride report from Charles.
Bret Winters joins Passion Staff We have a new mechanic in the Passion Family! Bret Winters has joined our staff and will provide a huge relief to our repairs and assembly backlogs. Make sure you say howdy to Bret next time you are in the shop. Bret comes with some great mechanical skills and an even better work ethic and attention to detail. We are pleased as Buster with Reba's pig's ear to have him aboard, and are certain you will be too. Please be nice to him on the ride tonight and don't bump him off the trail into the PO, OK?
One space in Advanced Dirt Jumping Clinic We have one spot left in the Advanced Dirt Jumping clinic with Chris Duncan which has been rescheduled to October 6th. If you are interested, read carefully: To reserve a spot you must pay the $100 clinic cost in advance. We do not reserve spots without payment. Contact Patty by phone, to confirm space availability and get instructions on how to pay. 650-620-9798. New items placed on the Sales Rack We've been getting a quite a few deliveries of new product as our vendors start releasing next year's cool stuff. That means we are making room and moving out some cool items and giving you a chance at some great deals: http://www.passiontrailbikes.com/articles/2007/08/24/too-many-delivery-trucks
Weekly Wednesday Wrides: Berry reports sunset today is 7:47. Please bring a blinkie light for the back of your bike so your trip back to the shop is uneventful. If you have a headlight that wouldn't hurt either. Next week we are bumping the rides back 30 minutes. In the meantime, here are today's Wride times:
The FBG is heading out with Reba at 6:00. Riders who want to go ultra slow are encouraged to join in. Rumor has it that some people think the Slow ride isn't that slow. So, go FBG then! The Usual is going off at 6:15 for a quick circumnavigation and criss-crossing of the park, and The Slow ride is leaving at 6:30 on the dot, for a tasting of trails.
Next week we are bumping the rides back 30 minutes. This means the FBG will be at 5:30, the Usual at 5:45 and the Slow at 6:00.
Happy Trails!
