2. Trailwork @ Demo, Waterdog: This weekend 2/9 and 2/10... Guilt Free Fun!

Feeling guilty about the tracks you've been leaving on the wet trails? Come earn karma with a bunch of other folks who brought home a bit too much mud on the downtube. On Saturday 2/9 we will be in Soquel Forest, running the chainsaw to clear snow-felled tree tops, flicking derailer eating sticks, and clearing silt out of drains. On Sunday 2/10 we will be back at Waterdog, working on brushing and drainage on some trails that could really use a little love.

Please pick a date and sign up at Trailworkers.com so we can get an idea of how many volunteers to expect. We will bring tools, snacks and leadership, you bring your muscles.

3. Friday night movies @ Passion tomorrow 2/8, & Slide Show on 2/15

Tomorrow we will have a movie night where we sample something from the stack of DVDs we have growing here. Come join us, and celebrate Strong Beer Month, with a taste of Devil's Canyon Brewery's Scotch Ale. Mmmmm. Goes good with chocolate. We will have some of that too, for movie time snackin!

Also, save the date! Next Friday, 2/15, John Gray will be presenting a slide show of his little hike up to the top of Mount Everest with his friend Apa Sherpa. Don't miss these super fun evenings hanging out with your mountain biking friends!

4. Demo Days are coming! March 15th, & 16th: Test Rides galore, BBQ, fun, fun, fun

We are lining up a whole stable full of bikes for you to saddle up and take out for a nice ride. Specialized will be bringing this:

And inside will be something like this:

We are also expecting bikes from Maverick, Ibis, Santa Cruz, Giant and Turner to be available for test rides. We will also have the BBQ going along with a nice spread of yummy side dishes, snacks, and of course, the all important brews and eanabs. Rides will go out to Waterdog every couple of hours. We will start taking reservations for test rides once we have a list of the bikes we will be getting. Stay tuned, and keep yer weekend free, for goodness sakes!
