We are taking reservations for test rides, which will go out in groups at 10am and 1pm, or possibly other times (depending on availability) during the day. We will also have the BBQ going from noon until 4pm both days, along with a nice spread of yummy side dishes, snacks, and of course, the all important brews and eanabs.

To reserve a bike, follow these instructions:
Send Charles an email and list your preferred test bike model and size, and ride time. If you are unsure what size, put what size and model bike you are already riding in your email.

Please note: Test rides will require a credit card and photo id card. You should come with your ride gear including shoes and helmet. If you don't use Shimano pedals, it's a good idea to bring your pedals with you.

2. Friends don't let friends do trail work nekkid, nope, no way!

No, no nekkid trail work volunteers allowed. Instead you can come dressed like this:

Or maybe come dressed like this:

The most important thing is not what you wear, but that you show up! We have trailwork this weekend, at Waterdog at 12 noon on Saturday, and at Demo at 10am on Sunday. You can join one of the days and earn the right to say you've given back a bit to the trails. It's the most fun you can have on a moist March weekend without getting nekkid!

Please pick a date and sign up at Trailworkers.com so we can get an idea of how many volunteers to expect. We will bring tools, snacks and leadership, you bring your muscles.

3. Ben wrote "something extraordinary that the sun should rise so early. . . "

Wouldn't you know it, Ben Franklin invented Daylight Saving Time in 1784! You can read about his late-rising habits and insight on this cool webpage where Ben reveals not only a sharp sense of economics, but also a wry wit.

This weekend you will note that we will follow good Ben's example and rise late for our trailwork. Please remember to set your clocks forward on Sunday and also note:

Wednesday night rides return next week. Ride until dark (or 7:30 pm) Woo Hoo!!!

Thanks, Ben!
